COMMITTED
We commit to our customers. We commit to our communities. We commit to our employees. We're working to make tomorrow better. Honor State Bank's success is closely tied to yours. Since 1917, our values have helped to keep us strong and stable even during difficult economic times.
Here are a few things Honor State Bank is doing to help:
Honor State Bank Lending
Unlike some of the big banks, we help our customers and communities every day by lending responsibly in the communities we serve. In fact, here are a few details about what we've done recently:
- We've helped many customers stay in their homes by refinancing or modifying their loans.
- The money you put on deposit with us goes to work in the form of loans to customers in our community.
- Honor State Bankers volunteer time at the Benzie Housing Council's Foreclosure Prevention Program.
- In 2009, we originated a record number of mortgage loans.
- We offer a number of loan programs designed for first time homeowners and low to moderate income borrowers.
Honor State Bank Community Involvement
We live in the communities we serve. That goes for our Board of Directors, our officers and our staff. We also give money back to the communities we serve. Each year, Honor State Bankers volunteer time and talents to local community and service organizations. Below are a few of the many organizations, HSB supports:
